Fadak's fan fiction draft

i like to write poems. it is a very soothing thing to do!! =)

my story will revolve around the great Malcom X, who deserves more attention from the public even though he was murdered and is no longer sharing this planet with us, we still need to teach his ideas and way of thought to the people who live in todays world.

In today's world there is more discrimination and pollution and brainwashing than before. The situation is far more complicated than it use to be and people need to learn how to stand for their rights and they need to learn how to get them back. =)

21 of february 1965 was a sunny day, it felt almost wrong for death to exist on that particular day.
"too much power for one man to have"
the search for peace, the need to for equity, the enormous strength and love.
malcom didn't wait around for people to do shit for him, malcom stood up, he did his bit and lead others to do the same.
he wanted equality for black people, he wanted to be treated like a human not like a dog, he wanted to be loved. he began something that should continue, because racism and dehumanization still exists.

he was born a leader, he was always doing things for himself.

from being a street boy to a well educated muslim black man, it was too much for the white racist government to handle, he had education, logic, truth in his hands, he had it all. he on his own was threat.. he woke so many of the sleeping,, he brought about change by gaining power, by being "loud and proud" of himself and his heritage.

it began with his name, the whites stole his name, and gave his family another name, he changed it to X, to resemble the missing truth.

"if you're not careful, the news papers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the ones who are doing the oppressing"

"thats what america is means, PRISON"
"once you how they get their strength, then you can see how you can get yours"
"the human revolution, thats a revolution"

  1. If it is a poem you'll be writing for the fanfic, I'll look forward to reading it Fadak. I have not read any fanfic poetry but am intrigued.

  2. Hey Fadak, interesting start to your fiction.
    A couple of pointers:
Could you perhaps define who is making the comments that you've written in "quotation marks".
Also it seems you are giving a run down of the history of Malcom X. I'm looking forward to a narrative to follow some of his, or his follower's, or whoever the main protagonist is to be.
    Good start!

  3. Also what is the canon that your story is to be based on? Is it an autobiography?

  5. Firstly, double check that his life can be considered 'canon'. If not you'll need to find something written that can be included under this umbrella, and then write FF about that?
If his story can be used as canon, maybe you could base it on Malcom X's life after death? His "ghost" watching all that he said and did influence movements like the black panthers, modern African American integration or something similar? Or even somebody who was present at some of his famous speeches, and their reactions to them and what not?

  6. Did you get some information regarding Malcolm X's life being used as a canon? Or find something else that could more easily be adapted into some FanFiction?

  7. A poetry!! thats something I could never come up with. very interesting Fadak. I just love reading and writing poems too, but it's just that English is not my first language, so I have limits to my expressions and they would always appeal for immaturity.. Really looking forward to see your drafts and final FF.
